This blend is so unique. A focus aid drink, it strengthens the brain, adrenals, and blood. This blend is full of rich vitamins and minerals and includes 30 servings. It is a drink made to aid intense focus, support memory, and boost the brain.

It provides a zoomed-in focus. Acute focus. It also feels very uppity so it should be taken either in the morning or the afternoon (Not night.) While it has no caffeine, it does have stimulating properties to it and that’s why daytime use is most beneficial!

Feeling of brain blend: Zippy, quicker on your feet (mentally), alert.
Long term benefits of brain blend: Support in brain health
Secondary benefits of brain blend: Warming and cleansing for the blood, nice for the adrenals if you need to start producing more energy but don’t want to rely on caffeine (or more caffeine.) We are not an anti-coffee company at all, just anti TOO MUCH caffeine. There is a difference.

This blend is amazing! People have reported back feeling super alert and supported.

TASTE? Lemon-ginger with grassy undertones. It is meant to be enjoyed more as a tea, but you can do a latte as well.

Ingredients

Lion’s Mane - This mushroom is incredible for brain health.  It is also known as hou tou gu or yamabushitake. They are these BEAUTIFUL shaggy-like, white mushrooms. They are one of the only mushrooms to have clinical trials! That’s how powerful these can be. Clinical trials are not cheap to run and they are rarely done on herbs/food because they can’t be patented.

Lion’s Mane holds so much promise for brain health. For one, it has two neuroactive compounds that have been shown to support brain cell growth, and those compounds are hericenones and erinacines.

Studies have shown that Lion’s Mane can help improve cognitive impairment. Which many of us experience as brain fog, or others it can be much worse than that. But lion’s mane is incredibly supportive for executive function in the brain as well as overall brain health in general.

Biohackers like to call Lion’s Mane a Nootropic- which is basically any substance that has been scientifically proven to stimulate cognitive functions. Memory, decision making, focus, etc.

Lion’s mane is mood-boosting, supportive of the HPA axis, and like all mushrooms, can support immunity.

Gotu Kola - This is an herb of longevity if we ever saw one! We see this remarkable green plant used all the time in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Indonesian medicine too! It is scientifically known as Centella asiatica.

Gotu Kola is wonderful for helping to support cognitive impairment. Again, that might look like brain fog for you! Or mood issues. Gotu Kola can support that. It is a spritely herb- which seems to be wonderful for brain synapses.

Many Ayurvedic students say that before their classes, they would have them chew on Gotu Kola to enhance brain activity. Pretty amazing!

Because blood health also goes with brain health, one should know that Gotu Kola can have positive effects on the circulatory system as well. Proper circulation supports brain health!

Rhodiola - Rhodiola is an adaptogenic, flowering herb that grows in the cold. Some people feel like Rhodiola can completely replace caffeine. It’s a bold statement and doesn’t ring true for everyone, but it does go to show just how beautifully strong this adaptation can be. And proof that supporting your HPA axis is what revs up energy long-term over time! Caffeine can be great, but only acutely and only if not overdone.

Rhodiola packs such a powerful punch- it has over 140 active ingredients. The two main ones are rosavin and salidroside.

Rhodiola helps people not face burn out as one, it’s an adaptogen so it helps the body react to stress, and two- it really does support people in energy production but without a caffeine jolt.

One cool thing about Rhodiola is people can feel effects as soon as one week or even acutely. Even those with huge fatigue issues. Rhodiola can help with low mood as well.

Mental and physical fatigue is a real thing, and Rhodiola can be a real help.

Ginger - One of the big reasons we put ginger in the brain blend is because it provides a sensory experience: ginger is very zippy. Zingy. And that can provide alertness, much like a splash of cold water on the face!

Ginger is great for supporting in decreasing inflammation, which we believe is crucial to brain and adrenal health. Ginger is also warming for the blood which is nice for circulation (this is very well known and practiced in Chinese medicine.)

The active ingredient in ginger is called gingerols and it has tremendous antioxidant effects.

We also love ginger because it has adrenal-supportive properties. Which of course as a company is very important to us.

Amla - Amla berry is sometimes known as Indian Gooseberry. It is mighty powerful with a slightly sour but nice taste to it. We had to have it in the brain blend!

Amla is potent in Vitamin C which is amazing for the brain-- especially with mood. Amla can help protect against free radicals in the body and also aids in hair health which is an added bonus!

Amla is also supportive of the heart, which we wanted to include because you want to be kind to the heart as it is a life force for the body! The heart is what pumps blood all around the body, and blood is one big thing we very much care about!

Lemon - We added lemon powder for the ZIP! A real sensory experience- Lemon is acute, sharp. It’s so perfect for the brain blend. Paired with ginger it’s perfect for the intended moment: zoomed in focused.

Lemons are also great for the heart, which means secondarily good for the blood.

Perfect mid day focus potion

Overall I enjoy this potion. I like to take my time sipping it mid day as my east coast team signs off for the day and use the enhanced focus it brings me to crank through my to-do list. While I love the taste and know to keep stirring it as I drink, I do wish it was slightly more soluble to make the last few sips more enjoyable. However the benefits out way the slight inconvenience of the last sips.
